Step 1
Shampoo your hair thoroughly to remove any oils or residues. Avoid using conditioner, as it can create a barrier that prevents color absorption. Dry your hair completely before proceeding.

Step 2
Apply coconut oil or petroleum jelly around your hairline and ears to prevent staining during the application process.

Step 3
In a non-metallic bowl, pour the desired amount of Arctic Mist Diluter. Gradually add your chosen Arctic Fox hair color, mixing thoroughly until you achieve the desired pastel shade. The more diluter you use, the lighter the final color will be.

Step 4
Before applying the mixture to your entire head, conduct a strand test to ensure you are happy with the shade and to see how your hair responds to the dye.

Step 5
Using a color brush, apply the mixture evenly to your hair, starting at the roots and working towards the ends. Ensure each strand is fully saturated for even color distribution.

Step 6
Cover your hair with a plastic cap to help retain moisture and heat. Leave the color in for at least 30 minutes. For more vibrant results, you can leave it on longer, as Arctic Fox colors are conditioning and will not damage your hair with extended processing times.

Step 7
Rinse your hair thoroughly with cold water until the water runs clear. Avoid shampooing immediately after coloring to allow the color to fully set. Style as desired and enjoy your custom pastel shade!
